From January 20th to February 28th, 2026 read a book, log it via Beanstack or on the paper log and you can enter to win one of three great grand prizes!

If you read 6 books, you will win a completion prize! eBooks and audiobooks count too!  Once you’ve completed the challenge, keep on reading for more chances to win!  Books must be read during the program dates and should be age/reading level appropriate.  Need help finding a book?  Let us know and we’ll pull some books for you to try out.

Two ways to enter:

1-Register at the Information Desk and pick up the official rules and reading log and get a free hot cocoa bomb (while supplies last)

OR

2-Register and record your books online via our Beanstack app-but don’t forget to stop by the library to get your free hot cocoa bomb!

Two ways to log:

If you’re using the paper log, when you’ve read or listened to a book(s), bring your reading log to the Adult Reference desk and we will initial it and give you a prize entry form.  Fill out the form and place it in the box for the prize you’d like to win.  The more you read, the better your chances of winning!  Once you’ve read 6 books, you get a completion prize!

If you’re using Beanstack, log on via our website (alexandrianpl.org), click Programs and click on the Adult Winter Reading Challenge. If you’ve used Beanstack before, just update to register for the 2026 challenge. If you’ve not, create an account and register for the 2026 challenge. When you’ve read a book, log your books via Beanstack and use your tickets to enter the prize drawings.

Please log your books either in person at the library or via Beanstack before the end date of the challenge (February 28th!)  And make sure to enter your tickets into the prize box otherwise you’re not entered into the grand prize drawing!
